SeriesLab & SeriesLab Talents 2023 in Berlin

The core event involving this programme and its participants is the final pitching session. The 19 international scriptwriters, writer/director and producers coming from 15 different countries - Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Germany, Greece, Iran, Italy, Lebanon, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States - will go up on stage, moderated by the pitch coach Linda Green, to present their 9 TV series projects, developed over by renewed international tutors. The audience will be composed of the major key players from the TV industry, including broadcasters, distributors, producers as well as representatives of public and private funds, who’ll also be able to meet the participants afterwards.

This TFL programme pushed 5 professionals to boost their skills in drama series writing by simulating the concept development process, under the guidance of an experienced mentor. The final showcase of the professionals and their work will be moderated by the pitch trainer Agathe Berman and it will unfold within the Only Writers In the Building event, which features also the 6 writers trained by the MIDPOINT Institute and is in collaboration with ACE and EAVE. The presentation will be followed by a networking reception, allowing the participants and the industry professionals to build connections and get inspired in a creative matchmaking environment.
