TFL Italia 2024

Designed to bolster the skills of producers and directors within Italy and to create cooperation opportunities for international productions.

MAIN INFO

TFL Italia undertakes two significant initiatives, maintaining its focus on Italy but with an enhanced approach serving dual objectives.

Firstly, it aims to empower emerging Italian filmmakers, equipping them with the skills necessary to internationalize their feature film projects and nurturing a fertile ground for local talent. Secondly, it strives to establish itself as a platform for international co-productions, fostering collaboration opportunities for projects and institutions seeking to engage with the Italian film industry.

This enriches the cinematic landscape both locally and internationally.

These goals are achieved using TFL’s established methodology, emphasizing hands-on project work and fostering robust exchanges with international experts, institutions, and fellow participants thanks to tailored training sessions addressed to feature film projects developed through the Boost IT Lab workshop.

The activities of TFL Italia will culminate in a presentation within the TFI - Torino Film Industry on 21st November, in front of a carefully selected audience of audiovisual professionals. This event will showcase the progress and outcomes of the projects, highlighting its commitment to fostering global collaborations and promoting Italian cinema on the international stage.

TorinoFilmLab's initiatives aimed at the Italian film industry began in 2020 with the Up & Coming Italia programme, which ran for three editions, and the Alpi Film Lab programme, focused on Franco-Italian audiovisual co-production, which was held in 2021 and 2022.
